From O'Hare Airport via the "El"
On the lower level of O'Hare Airport, board the Blue Line/O'Hare-Congress train to downtown. At the Washington Street stop, change trains to the Red Line/Howard-Dan Ryan. This involves going down the stairs from the platform, walking through the tunnel and back up onto the Red Line's Washington stop. Look for the signs indicating "Northbound to Howard" and take the train to the Chicago/State stop. Use the northeast (NE) stairs to exit the station. Proceed two blocks east and one block north to campus.

From O'Hare Airport by Cab
A cab from O'Hare Airport costs about $25.00 in normal traffic.

From Midway Airport via the "El"
Exit Midway Airport and proceed across the footbridge spanning Cicero Avenue to the Orange Line's Midway station. Take the Orange Line train into downtown. At the State & Lake stop, change trains to the subway Red Line/Howard-Dan Ryan. This involves exiting out special turnstiles on the platform which will dispense a free, limited-time transfer. Exit the platform and walk south on State Street to the subway entrance, descend stairs and board train on the "Northbound to Howard" platform and take the train to the Chicago/State stop. Use the northeast (NE) stairs to exit the station. Proceed two blocks east and one block north to campus.

From Midway Airport via CTA
Loyola's Water Tower and Lake Shore Campuses are both located close to Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus and train routes, including the #147 and #151 buses, and the Red Line elevated train. To give students the full advantages of public transportation, Loyola participates in the CTA U-Pass program, which gives a student an unlimited number of rides aboard all CTA buses and trains, and eliminates the need to pay cash per ride.
